For athletes with a goal · 20 questions · 4 minutes

What is holding you back
from your goal?

A PR, a race, a season without dropping out. The training you already do hard enough. The question is what you get back for it, and which link is currently holding that up.

No payment details. Your score straight on the screen.

Which athlete is this for?

Runners

Chasing a PR on the 10k, the half or the full.

Cyclists

More watts at threshold, or finishing a gran fondo the way you meant to.

Hybrid athletes

Strength and endurance in the same week, without one eating the other.

Hyrox and functional

A time where strength, conditioning and technique all count.

Triathletes

Three disciplines, one recovery system, a date in the season.

Team sport athletes

Fit the whole season, March included.

No races on the calendar? That is fine. Training seriously with a goal in mind is enough. For help with weight loss or general fitness you are in the wrong place.

What you get out of it

A number from 0 to 100. That figure says how much of your training work currently turns into progress toward that goal.

Below it, your standing per link. Fuelling, recovery, load, tension and the mental side. One of them is your weakest, and it gets named.

Alongside that, what your weakest link costs you in training hours, and what it means for the goal you filled in yourself.

Almost everyone scores lower than they expected

That comes from the arithmetic, not from strictness. The weakest link counts double.

Do four things excellently and one thing badly, and you land on 63 where the average would be 77.

Your body works the same way. All that good work gets held up by the one thing left undone. The sum simply shows it.

Does this cost anything?

No. Four minutes of your time, nothing else. The number appears on screen straight away. For the explanation behind it I ask for your name and email address.

How long does it really take?

Four minutes, roughly. Twenty questions, one per screen, with four answers to choose from each time.

What happens to my answers?

They go into your report. Nothing else happens with them. Selling them on is not something I do, and unsubscribing costs one click.
